I am very excited to announce that the Olito Lab will be supported by an ERC starting grant awarded for 2024-2028 for a research project titled “The Genomics of Sex Determination in the Hawaiian Wikstroemia“. The grant will fund two PhD students, a Post-doc, and an in-house bioinformatician, along with all the necessary research and travel costs needed to study this fascinating radiation of flowering plants in the Hawaiian Islands.
